What the consumers don't know is that excessive water dispensed at high pressure damages and shortens the life of the carpet; the backing of the carpet and the padding are not waterproof or water resistant. It also develops bacteria because of the drying time usually extends to two days if not more. It leaves a massive amount of detergent which gets the carpet dirty in no time after cleaning.
