Jewelry appraisals.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always had a love of gemstones and jewelry, having rock/stone collections as a child and taking metal smithing classes before and after graduating college. After several years in the insurance industry, I made a major career change and started working in retail jewelry stores in sales, bench jewelry repairs and manufacturing as well as managing a retail jewelry store, during which time I took gemology classes through the Gemological Institute of America, eventually receiving my Gemologist diploma.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My business is different than most other jewelry appraisal services in the area because I do not own the store in which I operate, I am an independent appraiser. The store that I operate in, Bk Jewelry, Inc., owned by Betty K. is also different than most other jewelry stores in the area, not only because of the exquisitely beautiful and unique jewelry it offers but also in it's friendly hospitable atmosphere, where you can come in with your favorite four legged friend and receive a dog treat and/or just sit on the comfortable couch and just chat.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?

What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, personal checks and most major credit cards.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Owned and operated by Wynn Fabbri, a GIA trained Gemologist.
What are your hours of operation?
Professional Appraisals, Inc. offers appraisals by appointment, call Wynn Fabbri at 630-297-5175. Appraisals are done at BK Jewelry, Inc. during Bk Jewelry business hours which are: Mon.-Fri. 10:00am-5:30pm Sat. 10:00am-4:00pm Sunday Closed
