Z. Faith Darby, the owner of Hands-of-Faith Holistic Healing Centers is a graduate of the Wellness and Massage Training Institute, Woodridge, Illinois with a degree in Massage Therapy. She is licensed by the State of Illinois and Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), a certification program whose mission it is to uphold the standard of excellence for Massage Therapists and Bodyworkers nationwide. She is a member of the ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals), the AMMA (American Medical Massage Association) and the American College of Physical Medicine. She is certified in Medical Massage and is currently a student of Wellness and Naturopathic medicine at Clayton College of Natural Health. She is also a Reiki Master/Teacher.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Although I offer various relaxation massage modalities, I specialize in medical massage therapy. The term medical massage describes how this type of massage is unique from society's general interpretation of massage therapy; medical massage moves from a relaxation paradigm to a therapeutic, corrective and restorative paradigm. We work in tandem with allopathic medical practitioners. No matter what the approach, we nurture and help you in whatever way we can. We provide the environment and ambiance most conducive to your health and healing combining techniques to fit your particular needs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I currently have one location. I have no immediate plans to expand.
