How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dan Kittilsen has been building homes for over half of his lifetime. Since a child Dan had a passion for building. Dan began his ventures as a Mason for a local company and quickly worked his way up the ranks to became a foreman for multiple masonry projects. In 1988 Dan began his venture in to the home building industry with the start of DJK Custom Homes. DJK Custom Homes has been running strong ever since. Dan is a part of the local Northern Illinois Home Builders Association as well as the DOW Builders Council. Dan has earned his Certified Graduate Builder certification and Certified Green Professional from the National Association of Homebuilders.
